Inside the Global Compact on Education logo

A logo, to express the invitation of Pope Francis to involve everyone in the "Global Compact on Education".

The colors are greenbluegold. Then, the stylized drawing of a world, embraced by a human figure.
The challenge was to be able to communicate the values, roots and purpose of the Global Compact on Education, so... We used green because it recalls nature, growth, renewal and also hope, the possibility of "sowing" prophetic dreams.
The blue, to remind us of our spiritual dimension, and also what we would like to contribute to achieving: Peace. Then, a golden brushstroke, to represent the light, the sacred. For every covenant, every covenant for the common good, for the good of humanity, has something sacred in it.

Then there are the forms. At the center of the world, there is the human person who carries out an action of care and protection of the world, of the Common House that has been entrusted to him.
The line of the circle symbolizes that macrocosm that is God, and expresses the beginning and the end of everything: being, totality.
