Paths of citizenship. From exclusion to inclusion

On March 24, 2020 from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm, the “Città dei Ragazzi” (Teens Town) will host a Conference entitled, "Paths of citizenship: from exclusion to inclusion”.

The “Città dei Ragazzi”, in the province of Rome, Italy, is a place where we promote the education of young people and where we accompany them in the process of growth and integration - an ideal place to talk about the Educational Compact. The Conference will focus on the four verbs proposed by Pope Francis to promote the reception of migrants and refugees: welcome, protect, promote, and integrate. Practices and stories of inclusion and exclusion will be explored in depth, with the purpose of promoting the participation of all in the life of the community, and of defining a socio-psycho-pedagogical paradigm for inclusion. During the rest of the day, active workshops are scheduled, as well as the opportunity to listen to some testimonies of inclusion pathways.
